![]() Rumours of the beauty of the princess Oda Kou lead him to the territory of Oda, where he meets a seriously chill version of Oda Nobunaga, whom apparently finds running a dango store to be more enjoyable than actually running his country.Īpparently (for no real reason) the two get along, and Nobunaga decides to appoint Rance as the new Shadow Ruler of Oda. In short, the opening story is: After his adventures in Zeth, Rance decides to come and visit JAPAN (yes, in capitials) with his slave, Sill, in order to visit the hotsprings and of course, have sex with as many girls as possible. Rance has the ability to strip out of his Half-Plate in about 7 seconds when he thinks he might be able to get some. And underneath the lust is actually a strangely decent guy. His ‘Strongest man in the world’ claim isn’t just self appointed either he really is one of the best warriors in the world, and is the bearer of one of the few legendary sentient demonslaying blades, Chaos. And yet…for all his arrogance and being a total dick, he’s a surprisingly likable character. He’s beyond arrogant and isn’t above forceful, dirty tactics to get what he wants. He unashamedly asks random women his just met to sleep with him and even seems to draw power from the act. ‘Sex Freak’ doesn’t even begin to describe him. Rance himself is…well… I guess, in a way, he’s like the fantasy version of James Bond. (This is showing the Items and Inventory screen, by the way) This one, however, is a tactical strategy game with Visual Novel Elements: As far as I’m aware, previous Rance games were dungeon crawlers with Visual Novel Elements. This is actually the SEVENTH game in the long running Rance series by AliceSoft (hence, Sengoku). ![]() Then she turns out to be another of Rance's Destined Girl and bore him a daughter later in Rance X.Its been awhile since I’ve done one of these, eh? I believe Kanon was the last one.Īnyway, this has been consuming ludicrous amounts of my spare time over the past few days, since a full-english translation was released on the 10th of October for it thanks to the efforts of the hardworking guys of Yandere Translations (and TakaJun, who seems to be everywhere!). I haven't played the game but apparently in Rance IX, Senhime proved herself to be a proper Noble Lady despite being a battle maniac. I think initially Senhime supposed to have a significant role in Sengoku Rance with her caliber of character but i guess as there are no more resource for another IF route, she is stuck to side character role until Rance IX where she had more prominent role. So in my Sengoku Rance playthrough i picked Ieyasu most of the time since his recruitment scene is quite hilarious. For all of these hassle you only get a better than average Ashigaru Unit that require significant amount of investment to make her unit to be useful asset for battle. Then in order to get Senhime Character Clear you need to get her fight 3 losing battles which is troublesome if you don't use the Akashi Clan event. I remembered Senhime to be a rather troublesome unit in Sengoku Rance as you need to put her into fights constantly or otherwise she joins other clan. Her innate high level Cap of 65 also makes her a very good combatant but Ieyasu is more reliable choice for dungeon fights. In Sengoku Rance, she leads Ashigaru army but more oriented at offensive role instead of protecting the ally. Surprisingly for person of her stature, Senhime is a consummate battle maniac and particularly loves fighting in a losing battle. Surprisingly Senhime doesn't really hold grudge and Rance able to recruit her to join Oda clan by promising her thrills of battle. Her first encounter with Rance is not a pleasant one as the Lustful warrior took her virginity while she is being shackled after he defeated Tokugawa Ieyasu claiming that it is his reward for avenging her clan. She put up a fierce resistance against the Racoons but eventually overwhelmed and imprisoned in a dungeon. Senhime is the heir of her clan until Racoon Youkai invades her land and exterminate her family. In Ranceverse, Tokugawa Sen or more known as Senhime is a princess from Tokugawa Samurai clan in JAPAN.
